What does aura smoke mean spiritually?
by Floxy
(London)
Q: My partner has a cold. So for the last three nights I have been burning Clove oil in a burner, on my side of the bed. Last night, the third night of using the oil, just after we had switched of the lights, I awoke to see what looked like smoke coming out of his hair. I also felt as if I smelt a very slight smell of burning that disappeared(not the smell of the oil burner as I do know the difference and there were no lit candles or any kind of flame near to him or on his side of the bed).
Startled and bemused I said to him there's smoke coming out of your hair! He obviously didn't take me seriously and put it down to a trick of the light. I rubbed my eyes but there was definitely a smokey mist surrounding and rising form his head. I even put my hand in and tousled his hair to try and see if it was my imagination - there was definitely smoke. It was a white misty kind of smoke, a bit like the mist you would see on a lake at dawn. I then turned on the light, (by which time he was standing, (unperturbed I might add) and on his way to the kitchen to get some water.
But even with the light on, the smoke was still there. I am developing spiritually and I think he is too. Even though he didn't react I know that he didn't think I was completely wacko. He has recently started to practice Tai chi juan and is becoming very dedicated. I trust what I saw as it's not something that happens every night, or day. Do yo have any idea what this could mean?
Eva's Response: Is this the first time you've experienced this kind of thing? Auras and energy definitely have a smoke-like quality, especially if you're quite attuned to the other person's energy. You likely smelled the smoke because you saw the smoke and your brain was compensating by giving you a smell to back up the image.
I don't think it's anything to worry about. Have fun with your developing spirituality!
