What do my aura colors mean?

Q: Hi. I have a couple friends that see auras, but only one of them told me what she saw while she was reading me. I've been told by all of them that my aura is very beautiful, and is interesting/amazing.

The color closest to me is a thin layer of a very bright blue. Bright as if it was an actual light, like from a neon OPEN sign.

The next couple inches of color are gold and then yellow.

And outside of that she saw white that looked like a mist or smoke and it swirled around me.

I know that there's a list of the colors and their meanings, but I just wanted to know what you think of this... particularly about the white one.

Another thing - There are some times when I'm a tad exhausted as I'm brushing my teeth, I unknowingly close my eyes and when I open them, I see a blue or green. Am I seeing my aura?
Other than that, I've only seen energy particles in the air and some "fields".

Eva's response: Ok before I begin - I am just going off your description, I haven't seen these colors for myself so I'm making this interpretation based on second-hand information:

Your aura colors indicate that you are indeed a very spiritually open person, and that you will make a lot of spiritual growth in this lifetime. You are definitely here for a reason, and a lot of protection surrounds you. I'd say you're in for a long, healthy and fulfilling life.

When you close your eyes and open them, are you looking at your own third eye chakra? If so, I'd say yes you are seeing your aura. If not, and everything you look at is green or blue, I'd say you have a case of tired eyes.
