Was it a real aura? Or a migraine?
by Olivia
(Ohio)
Q: I've had migraines for a couple years now, but I've never had an aura, not that I remember.
Today, I experienced a couple flashes of white light in my right eye in the peripheral. It was so peripheral I looked to my side because I thought something moved but then I realized what it was.
I'm at work and can't afford a migraine so I've taken medicine and doing everything to prevent one, but since the flashing lasted only seconds, could it still be an aura or just my eyes playing tricks?
Eva's response: Migraine auras are uncomfortable. Spiritual auras are not. Often people will see spirits and energies in their peripheral vision, as it's easier for the energy to make contact.
People often report that they saw something in their peripheral, but when they turn it's no longer there. My only explanation is that it takes less effort for energy to be seen in your peripheral (when you're not focusing on it) rather than jump out in front of you and scare you half to death.
And yes, energies can live in workplace. I had a friendly purple orb that used to pop up over my scanner when I worked in a Senator's office.
As an aside, if you "can't afford a migraine" it's time to take some vacation leave.
