Twin Flames

by Sheila
(Apache Junction, AZ)

Q: I have a very interesting question: My Reiki Master has another client by the same first name as mine. We are both named Sheila. She is two years older than me.

The first time my Reiki Master worked on me she remarked that working on me felt the same as when she works on the other Sheila. She introduced me to Sheila one day and we went out for a walk, the three of us.

The Reiki Master walked backwards ahead of us at times and watched us. She discovered that when we are close together, like two or three feet apart, we have only one aura around us. When we are further apart, we each have our own aura, but they are exactly alike. Except, the other day, my throat chakra was lower than hers.

The last time we walked, our Reiki Master said Sheila was sending anger out at me through her core chakra. She has developed a dislike for me. When our Reiki Master suggested we talk to each other often, she got angry and said she doesn't want to do it. But then a few days later she changed her mind and gave me her contact info.

I don't see how we could be Twin Flames. First of all, we are both women, and I am definitely not attracted to her. Though I would not totally reject her and I could learn to be a platonic friend of hers, I am neutral about her. I don't feel any anger against her as she does me.

Now, I have done nothing to antagonize her. But, I am a Reiki Master and she is not, and being so, I am an activator, and maybe she feels that and doesn't want to change. Can you please tell me what is going on. And why would we have auras the same and have one in the same aura. We are not even alike, and why would our auras be one when together. My Reiki Master said they are not overlapped, or one higher or lower than the other, they are as one. Please help, I am perplexed.

Eva's Response: I think the lesson here is one for your Reiki Master. She is the one who is seeing your auras become one, and then break away again. As she is the one perceiving it, she is the one who needs to be looking into it.

Let me be clear: You and the other Sheila are two separate human beings, therefore you have two separate auras.

I think your Reiki Master needs to meditate on this and ask what lesson is in it for herself.

An interesting point you raise about anger energy. We process anger energy all the time in our auras. We don't always feel it though. Sometimes it can just be dealt with at an energetic level, and it never even needs to come up to the conscious level where anger can be "felt".

Perhaps Sheila just felt put on the spot, like she needed to protect herself. I'm not sure how I would feel if someone put me next to a stranger, then told me we had the same aura, then insisted I speak to this other person often, when I don't even know them...

Go with your gut instinct on this one. From what you write above, you don't feel right. Stick with your feelings. I really don't think this is your problem, and I think your Reiki Master needs to look within to see what message is in it for her.

Love & light
Eva
