Toddler scared of Imaginary Friends

Q: My 3 yr old Grandson "sees playmates". He won't tell us what exactly he sees, but he smiles & nods at them.
This does not worry me at all as my daughter had a "friend" until she went to school, but lately he has been having nightmares & is scared to sleep in any room by himself.
Any suggestions would be great.
Eva's Response: Hi there, I'm sorry to hear your grandbaby is having a rough time. Kids at age 3 love two things - imaginative games, and boundaries. You can use this to his advantage.
Tell him about the Archangel Michael. He is the warrior angel, and his job is to protect kids from baddies in their room. He is really big and tall, and he has big white wings and carries a sword. He is like the police man of the angelic realm and his job is to catch the bad-guys.
If your grandson gets scared, all he needs to do is say "Angel Michael come and get this bad-guy" and Archangel Michael will swoop down and get the bad-guy with his sword. Archangel Michael will ALWAYS win because those are the rules.
Sue, you can help by white-lighting your grandson's room and bed when he goes to sleep for the night. See him in a very strong bubble of white light. Ask Archangel Michael to stand watch and protect him as he sleeps.
