Tea Tree Essential OilTea tree oil is amazing stuff. Native to the east coast of Australia, this strong, fresh oil has so many benefits.Also known as melaleuca oil, it is scientifically proven to have antimicrobial, antiseptic and disinfectant qualities. It has been used as a staple of Australian households for well over one hundred years. There are so many uses for this oil. Mix with water as an effective disinfectant. I wipe down my kitchen benches and mop my floors with this stuff. It's magic! I used it during my teen years to control acne. I would use a cue-tip and dot it directly onto the pimple just before going to bed. It dries out the pimple while killing bacteria it at the same time. 3 or 4 drops of this oil in hot water provides a good steam inhalation for cold and sinusitis symptoms. 2 few drops in a glass of cold water makes a mouthwash that not only kills germs and heals ulcers, it also freshens your breath.
