Tea Leaf Reading Exercise

Tea leaf reading is a fun way to push your sixth sense limits.

Try this exercise.

What you will need:

Loose leaf tea - herbal is good

A pot to brew in

White cup + saucer

Spoon

Directions:

To make the beverage, put 2 spoons of the leaves into the pot for every person who will have a cup. Add boiling hot water.

Allow it to brew for 2 minutes. This allows for flavor.

Each person pours their own cup. Do not use a strainer as you want plenty of leaves in your cup.

Note: If you don't have a pot, just put your leaves straight into the cup and add hot water. It won't taste so great, but it will give you the same leaf-reading outcome.

You can add sugar, water or milk to your cup to cool it down, or just let it sit for a while.

Drink the liquid, being careful not to swallow the leaves.

When you have finished drinking, it is time to concentrate.

Take the saucer and place it on top of the cup. Now flip the cup and saucer so the saucer is on the bottom and the upside-down cup sits on top.

Concentrate on what you want to know. Either ask a question in your mind or simply ask that you see a relevant message.

While you are concentrating, swirl the cup and saucer three times in a clockwise direction, being careful not to spill any liquid.

Now carefully lift off the cup, discard the saucer and peek into the cup.

You should see a pattern of leaves clumped around the inside of the cup.

Look at the leaves as if you're reading clouds. You will soon see shapes, letters and pictures.

It's important here to follow your own intuition. If a certain number, letter or shape means something to you, go with that meaning.

Here is a short list of shapes to look out for, along with their universal meanings:

Triangles: Good times ahead

Squares: You need to be cautious

Circles: You will soon be rewarded for your hard work

Letters: Think of people you know whose names start with the letters.

Numbers: Could mean number of days, months or years, or could indicate a date, time, house number etc.
