Science of Your Aura
A simple 4th grade science lesson can explain what your aura is and where it comes from.
Everything on this planet is made of matter. Matter can take three forms - solid, liquid or gas. All matter is made up of atoms. Different objects are made up of different types of atoms. Inside each atom, you have a nucleus. Orbiting the nucleus are electrons. The energy of the orbiting electrons produces heat, which causes the electrons to gain energy. When electrons gain energy, they move out further from the nucleus of the atom. When the electrons cool down and return to normal orbit, the energy is released in the form of light (called a photon). So heat energizes the atoms to produce light. The color of the light depends on the amount of energy released by the atom. Color is measured by frequency. High frequency light has high energy and low frequency light has low energy. Of the visible colors, red has the lowest frequency and violet has the highest frequency. So the energy produced by the atom determines the frequency of the light wave, which is interpreted by the eye as color. We humans are made up of atoms as well. Our atoms produce energy, which produce photons. The color of your skin, eyes and hair are all interpreted by the eye using the photons our atoms produce. If you put the palms of your hands close together, you will feel warmth. This warmth is the energy produced by the atoms in your body. This is your aura. Concentrating on this warmth, you may be able to detect subtle light passing between your palms. It might look wispy, like a spider web. Eyes that are trained to work in partnership with intuition can see the different frequencies of light, or color, between the palms.
