Pine Essential Oil

The aroma of pine essential oil remains true to the needle-leaves of the Pinus Sylvestris breed of three.

This is important to remember because there are many varieties of this tree and different compounds are harvested from different trees. Some are quite overpowering, including turpentine.

Good quality essential oil is pleasant, lightly sweet and refreshing.

This oil has been widely used throughout the ages as a disinfectant and deodorant. It kills many common viruses and bacteria in the air.

A few drops on your pillow will ease a stuffy nose. It can also be used in a diffuser to freshen a room. Add a couple of drops to some corn flour and use under the arms as a deodorant.

Warning: Do not apply directly to the skin undiluted as it may cause irritation. Can cause breathing difficulties if the aroma is directly inhaled. Keep children and pets away when you are using this oil. Stay away from this oil if you are pregnant.
