My eyes are bad - is that why I see auras?

Q: I am a 16 year old girl and I am severely nearsighted, literally just short of legally blind; my diploid prescription for each eye is -6 and worse, and I have double astigmatism.
I can easily see moving energy, and the energy around people and things, and I was wondering if the astigmatisms are what make it so easy to see.
I also was wondering if my vision affects the way I see auras, because I can see the outline of the aura (the energy of them) but they don't have color unless I take more than about 20 minutes of concentration. Will the colors come easier with more practice or does my vision impair my ability to see the colors of the aura along with their energy?
Eva's Response: The problems with your eyes isn't the reason why you're seeing auras. But, it's commonly known that if you lose one sense, the other senses will become sharpened to make up for it. This would help you survive in caveman days! So it makes sense that, as you're almost legally blind, that your other senses (hearing, touch, taste, smell) would be heightened, as would your sixth sense - which includes your ability to see energies and auras.
To see colors, you don't need any more concentration. And for the love of God, don't stare, it will only make your vision worse. Just some patience, and not trying to force it so much, will have you seeing colors in one way or another. You might end up being able to feel colors instead, or taste them.
I wish you all the best!
