My child sees auras
Q: Hi Eva, I have just come across your website as I am searching for how to best support my 11 year old daughter who often says she can see people's auras. Is there anything she should be careful of when seeing a persons aura?
A: 11 years old is a very impressionable age and she will embark on a period of massive growth in the next few years as she enters adolescence. During puberty many children lose their ability to see auras due to peer pressure or simply out-growing the ability. I think you should neither encourage her to pursue the aura reading abilities nor discourage her from talking about it, and let time tell whether this will be a life-long experience or not.
I guess the big thing is how does your daughter feel about it? If she's happy and just fascinated, let her run with it and see where she goes. If however you find that she begins to experience nightmares and night terrors in her teens (like I did) you will need to watch her more carefully.
Teenagers are big balls of energy, hormones and confusion, and this can sometimes attract negative influences, both in terms of people and spirits who will see her energy flashing like a beacon in the desert. Make sure your daughter knows the stranger-danger rules, as the same rules apply in the spiritual realm just like they do here on earth.
Also, teach her how to "white-light" herself. I recommend that you also white-light your daughter. When she goes to bed imagine her bed in a bubble of white light and her bedroom bathed in white light.
