Layers of Your Aura

The human aura is comprised of seven layers, each with their own distinct function.

The layers are:

Physical: The level that is closest to the skin. It is the easiest one to see as it contains the densest vibration of the electromagnetic particles that the body produces. In this way, you can see the state of a person's physical health.

Essential: Your life force, or your essence. This level is comprised of two parts. The first records your earthly lessons from this life, and the second contains the lessons from past lives. When your physical body dies, the essential level detaches from your body and takes your soul to heaven.

Energetic: This is the tier where you subconsciously communicate with others around you. This tier both sends out signals to others and receives signals from others. The energy you feel after seeing a live music performance comes from this level. Likewise, the depletion in energy you feel after a hard day in the office also comes from soaking up other people's negativity at this level.

Emotional: The link between the higher tiers of the aura and the lower tiers. While the lower tiers outline your physical body, this is the first layer that cocoons you in an oval shape. This tier is also known as the social aura because it blends energy with other people you are close to, for example family or a team. This tier gives and takes energy as required to ensure a harmonious environment.

Intellectual: Your thoughts create activity in this level. Analytical or technically minded left brain people have their intellectual level quite separate from their emotional level, while the more creative and imaginative right brainers will find that their intellectual level is quite close to the emotional level. This is because the emotions play a vital role in how right brainers interpret the world around them.

Divine: The job of this tier is to convey heavenly guidance into thoughts and feelings. This is the tier of your energy field that opens up when you meditate to give you insight. You sometimes hear sports stars say that they were "in the zone". This is basically a way of saying that they were tapped into divine inspiration at the time of their performance.

Spiritual: This level is pure heavenly energy which operates at the deepest sub-conscious level. Those who have cheated death often talk about their "decision to live". When a person decides to live, they are sub-consciously commanding their spiritual aura to charge them with the energy needed to survive.
