Kirlian Photography

This type of photography was invented by a Russian couple, Semyon and Valentina Kirlian, in 1939.



This method is not actually a form of photography, it's a photogram. An image is placed directly onto film and exposed to light without the use of a camera. This produces a negative afterimage on the film.

The inventors discovered that by putting a person or object within an electrical circuit, they could capture the electrical charge of the first layer of the aura.

The film would sit on top of a metal plate which was then charged with a high electrical voltage. A person's hand would go on top of the film. The electrical current would then react with the moisture of the hand being photographed.

The strength of the energy field would depend on the body's temperature and moisture level. Humidity and temperature of the air will also affect the outcome of the picture. Any change in the atmosphere will affect our energy field as we are all just clusters of atoms at the very basis of it.

The same technology is used today in photocopiers and computer scanners. Images are caused by high voltage corona effect. The corona effect happens when an object's energy field becomes charged by the high voltage electric plate.

The electricity discharges into the atmosphere, making the energy field visible on the picture produced.

This type of photography shows only the immediate energy field surrounding the body, or physical layer of the aura. The depth of the aura is also not visible.

It is difficult to do an in-depth analysis of the meaning behind the energy field without the entire energy field being visible.
