I’m seeing a green glow

Q:I was doing your practice on how to see your aura, and after about two minutes I began to see a green glow around my hand. It wasn't like spider webs, like you suggested, more just a faint color. Was this an aura?

Yes, that certainly sounds like an aura! The green is a really good sign as green is the color of growth and serenity. You can now extend this exercise by looking at yourself in a mirror. You'll begin to see an outline around your head and you might see a smudge of color here or there. Let me know how it goes.
