I'm scared to see my own aura
Q: Okay, so I haven't tried reading my aura yet (with the looking at your hand technique) but I'm afraid I will either not be able to do it or freak out because I see nothing. What do you suggest?
A: What is it you're scared of? Are you afraid that you won't see anything, or are you afraid that you will see something and not like what you see? I recommend that you try the exercise. At first, it's very likely that you'll see nothing. It's an exercise that is designed to train your eyes and intuition over time to quickly go into that state of mind that's required to see an aura.
As for what you'll see, just know that we are all energetic beings, that is, we are made up entirely of energy. Anything negative we have attracted to ourselves through our thoughts and we can get rid of anything negative by thinking positive thoughts of health and happiness. I know it sounds very airy-fairy, but it's the truth.
Anyhow, I wish you the very best of luck with the exercise.
Q: Okay, I tried, but saw nothing. Then tried again the next day, I think I saw something, but it might've been me staring too long. Can anyone train themselves to do this? My friend seems interested.
A: This is something you really can't push or learn in a day. It's not a party trick, and just as some people excel in Maths while others excel in English, our gifts and talents are different.
For example, I see and read auras, and I would say that this is my strongest ability and my life's work. Although for years I've been having premonitions and being contacted by lost spirits trying to get to the other side.
If your friend is really interested, I suggest that he/she learns about self awareness and sees where that takes them. They might find that they have a talent for clairvoyance or healing! What opened me up was reading books like "The Lightworker's Way" by Doreen Virtue and "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise Hay.
