I'm not seeing past the first aura layer!

Q: Is there a reason why when I see auras it's limited to skin? I was doing healing on my dad and saw that my hands were turning green but I couldn't see the aura. What does this mean? Will I eventually be able to see the energy past the skin, or is this some bad habit I picked up from doing it wrong?
Eva's Response: I have experienced this, and I find it comes when I'm focusing too hard, and the light is too low, and my crown chakra isn't receiving energy, the room looks like it's turning dark and the object I'm looking at turns a different color.
You are working too much through your 3rd eye chakra (the chakra in the middle of your forehead). When you are healing, open your crown chakra (picture white light pouring into the top of your head). This will stop you getting tired after healings as the energy is coming from the Universe, not from yourself.
At the moment your ability to see auras is limited, because the energy involved in your healings is limited.
Remember that the healing energy does not come from YOU. You are simply a channel of energy. A healing should heal yourself just as much as it heals the person you are giving the healing energy to. This is because the healing energy has to come through your body to get to another person's body. Relax, open your crown chakra, ground your root chakra and clear your energy before and after healings.
I have written a report about the 7 chakras and your aura, which will help you understand this better.
Best of luck!
