Does My Daughter Read Auras?

Q: My daughter recently came to me and said she colors around different objects, more so when it's light than in the dark.

She said she primarily sees pink, purple, blue and green sometimes red.

I took her to an optometrist who said there is nothing wrong with her vision. I was told once by a medium that she is a star child and has the gift of visions and empathy. I'm wondering if this sounds like aura and how do I help her with it if it is?

Eva's Response: As her mom, your job is to stay really calm about it, and not treat this ability like it's any big deal at all.

I would neither encourage, nor discourage this ability. She will develop in her own time. Pushing her to improve her ability runs the risk that she will become too sensitive too quickly and this can lead to issues such as anxiety disorder and panic disorders.

Allow her to lead you. If she displays her ability to you, let her know you're supportive, but avoid making her 'perform' for friends and family, as this can lead to confusion and embarrassment, causing her to turn her back on the ability altogether.
