Damaged Auras?
Q: Hi, I was wondering is it possible for a person's aura to be damaged by either external forces or emotional turbulence with in the individual?
I have always been very aware of my own aura by extension of the auras of those close to me, but lately its been patchy - harder to read my own aura let alone others and I cant stand to be touched by other people .... it just feels wrong leaving me feeling almost dirty if that makes any sense.
Eva's Response: Yes. Something has upset you, or is upsetting you, and that needs to be addressed.
Think: What has changed recently? Is there someone new in your life, or has someone done something that you don't agree with? Whatever it is, you've taken on this negative energy and you are holding it in your aura.
First thing is to think very hard about what is the cause for your upset? It might be obvious, or perhaps not so obvious. Sometimes, you feel "bad" but you're not sure who or why. It's important to really think about what emotion you're feeling and why.
If it's related to an ongoing issue (eg. bullying, a bad relationship etc), you need to deal with the people involved (takes courage, but it's worthwhile).
Then, close your eyes and see the emotion. Picture it. Give it a shape, give it a color. Give it a label if that helps. Then, imagine it going black & white and shrinking down in size.
Then it's time to send it to the universe. I usually blow it away with my breath, but you can kick it, throw it, catapult it, whatever you feel.
The universe takes this energy and reprocesses it. Your aura will not suffer any long-term damage.
I'm pretty sure you'll feel back to normal after you've addressed what the issue is and let go of the corresponding emotion.
