How to Body Scan Your Aura
This free and easy exercise will, with practice, enable you to perform a full body scan of a person's aura to detect areas of physical or emotional discomfort.
1. Set aside around 30 minutes where you will not be interrupted. 2. Choose a buddy who is open and willing to be scanned by you. If your buddy is nervous or hesitant, this exercise will not work. 3. Sit comfortably, either on the floor, cross-legged and facing each other or on chairs with feet flat on the floor and facing each other. 4. Decide who the scanner and scannee will be. 5. Stay really relaxed. Sit in your positions and just chat together for a while. This allows you to get used to the seating arrangement and also allows the energy to flow between you. 6. Both people close their eyes. Silence is not necessary but the scanner may benefit from quiet so they can concentrate. 7. If you are the scannee, just sit quietly and patiently. Keep your eyes closed and stay relaxed. 8. If you are the scanner, picture your buddy across from you in your mind's eye. You might be surprised how quickly you begin to see colors around a person in your mind's eye. If you don't see anything right away, be patient. Just allow the experience to unfold. 9. The scanner can make notes of what they see or feel during the exercise. 10. The scanner should share what they saw with the scannee. Be truthful, calm and gentle. 11. Take a break before doing the exercise again, this time swapping roles. Note: Always make sure you have permission of the person being scanned. Body scanning a person's aura to spy on them does not generate positive karma!
