Aura, Migraine or Epilepsy?

Q: About a couple of weeks ago I started seeing forms around people. They are transparent, almost remind you of the heat that rises off hot pavement.
It's becoming more and more frequent, I even see it on myself now. I don't see color, but I have seen color on my oldest son from my peripheral vision, and when I try to see straight on, it turns back into a haze.
I've been getting headaches more frequently as well. I meditate only 10 minutes a day, sometimes no more than 15.
Is this an aura, or should I get my eyes checked? And if it is aura, will the headaches eventually stop? And when does someone see colors, if ever? Also, why do I see color from my peripheral?
Eva's Response: True auras should never give you a headache. My advice is to see a doctor, to rule out anything serious like epilepsy or migraines.
I don't mean to scare you, but true auras should not make you uncomfortable at all.
