Astral Projection and Your Aura
Astral projection is also known as an out of body experience. It relates to the essential layer of your aura, which is also known as your spiritual body double.
The most common type of out of body experience is the near death experience, which happens when a person is physically incapacitated to the point that their essential layer of the aura, or body double, leaves the physical body. A friend of mine described her near death experience from her childhood. Her parents were having a party at their home and had inflated helium balloons as decorations. The kids decided to play a game where they inhaled the helium from the balloons and laughed at their squeaky voices. My friend took a giant breath of helium and ran outside to show the adults her new trick. Her next conscious thought was of standing outside her body while her physical body was lying on the ground. She watched the crowd gather around while her father gave her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Her next memory is of waking up in a hospital bed. Sometimes projection occurs as the result of deep meditation, either accidentally or on purpose. People describe their body as feeling asleep, while they feel themselves either floating or being pulled out of their body. They then travel to earthly or spiritual destinations. Some just hover outside their body and enjoy the feeling of weightlessness. While there is no real physical danger involved in projection, you need to be sure that you are mentally strong before embarking on any out of body exercise. Seeing your own body from the outside can be a traumatic experience if you are not prepared.
