Aromatherapy and Your Aura

Aromatherapy is good for you on so many levels. It strengthens your mind, body, spirit and aura.

Smell is an extremely strong, primal sense that activates the emotional centers of your brain. This is why you will commonly use an emotional word to describe a smell, such as comforting, uplifting or relaxing.

Smell is closely aligned with memory. You may be walking down the street and suddenly sense an aroma which takes you back to a memory of your childhood.

Growing up in Australia, I associate the summery smell of the Jasmine bloom with the excitement and buzz of Christmas day.

Now I live in the USA, I get my Christmas buzz in June!

Emotions have a large impact on your physical health, which is where essential oils, with all their antiseptic, antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial properties, are useful.

Great breakthroughs have also been made in the skincare arena, with many products being created with natural herbal ingredients.

Armed with the correct knowledge, you can use essential oil recipes to mix your own lotions and potions and soothe a variety of ailments.

There are many different ways to administer essential oils at home. Candles, diffusers, bath products and oils are the most popular ways to increase the benefits.

Whichever way you choose, it is a gentle way to work in harmony with your own energy to improve the health of your aura. It requires very little effort for great rewards!
