After-image or aura? Does wearing glasses affect this ability?
by Nort Thalem
Q: How can someone tell the difference between auras and simple afterimage effects? I see something like auras, sometimes with no effort depending on location or background seeing color takes effort, but seems like exploiting simple afterimage tricks.
I also wear glasses now, didn't about 14 years ago but my sight was clear then. Back then I could see a very thin film around things with no effort, now I'm seeing more, usually clear, and an almost invisible fog around people at work that flares as they move. Objects seem to have a pane of invisible glass surrounding it, but not swirly like around people. People only swirl as they move.
I also see this multicolored fog all the time, different from the other stuff that is usually less visible in light or when I'm not looking for it. It almost seems like its not there. Some places seem to have more of it, or like its moving faster.
What other paranormal sight "powers" are out there? Doctors seem to think besides my astigmatism, that my eyes are fine.
Eva's Response: Hi Nort, the difference between auras and after-image is this: An aura is when you see the light that radiates from an object. An after-image happens when you stare at an object for too long and the image of that object becomes burnt onto the retina of your eye.
Simple way to tell if it's an aura or after-image? Close your eyes! If you still see the image, it's an after-image.
I also wear glasses - this does not seem to affect my own ability to see auras.
When trying to see an aura, just relax and gently gaze - don't stare - and move your eyes around on the object. You'll soon see some white here, then maybe a splash of blue will catch your eye or you might see a spark of purple.
Best of luck!
