A bright white sparkling light appeared out of thin air

Q: As I was preparing dinner, I started to hear a crackling/almost popping sound. From the corner of my eye, I saw a bright white light appear.

This light started out small and expanded into a large diamond shape floating midair. I froze as I stood there in awe. It was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. It looked as if a million bright white diamonds were sparkling. As I walked towards it to touch it, it started shrinking and fizzled away.

A few hours later, I received a phone call that my grandmother had passed away. When I spoke to my sister she described her last visit to see my grandmother and explained that she was in bad shape and believed wholeheartedly that my grandmother seemed to have died and come back a few times.

Do you think the light I saw was my grandmother saying goodbye (during the one of the times she had slipped away and came back)? Was it an angel? Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Eva's Response: What a beautiful story! It certainly sounds as if you were visited by some heavenly energy. Isn't it a comfort to know about the wonderful life that awaits us after our earthly "death"?

I think you are right - it was your grandmother. The coincidence of her decline in health and slipping away at the time you saw the light, it's just makes sense that it was her.
